Mazda เตรียมเปลี่ยน MX-5 เป็นรถไฟฟ้า แต่ยังคงความขับสนุกไว้ครบ แม้ยุคนี้จะเต็มไปด้วย SUV ไฟฟ้า แต่ Mazda ก็ยังยึดมั่นในความรู้สึกสนุกเวลาขับ โดยล่าสุดมีการจดสิทธิบัตรใหม่ในอเมริกา ที่อาจเป็นกุญแจสำคัญของถสปอร์ตในยุค EV! สิทธิบัตรใหม่ บอกใบ้ MX-5 ไฟฟ้า? Mazda ได้จดสิทธิบัตรเมื่อเดือนตุลาคมที่ผ่านมา และเพิ่งมีข้อมูลโผล่ในเดือนเมษายนนี้ ภายในสิทธิบัตรแสดงภาพรถสปอร์ต 2 ประตูขนาดกะทัดรัด ที่ดูคล้าย MX-5 รุ่นปัจจุบันมาก แต่ข้างในเปลี่ยนไปใช้ระบบขับเคลื่อนไฟฟ้าเต็มรูปแบบ! จัดวางแบตฯ แบบใหม่ ไม่ตามใคร EV ทั่วไปจะวางแบตแบนใต้พื้น (skateboard style) ซึ่งเหมาะกับ SUV หรือรถเก๋ง แต่ Mazda คิดต่าง! แทนที่จะวางใต้พื้น พวกเขาจะวางแบตฯ แบบ “ตั้งเป็นแนว” ตรงกลางรถ (ในตำแหน่งอุโมงค์เกียร์เดิม) ข้อดีคือ: จัดจุดศูนย์ถ่วงให้อยู่กลางรถ = เข้าโค้งไว ควบคุมดี ลดแรงเหวี่ยงในการหมุนรถ (yaw moment) […]
